Last week we hiked out to the Cotton Wood Spring Oasis. We soaked up some sun and enjoyed scenery spotted by beautiful cactus. Dr. Nick became more excited than I have ever seen when he spotted a "Chuck Walla." He said it is a very rare find, so I now I know what to look for when I am hiking in the desert.
