Ok, so it has been a REALLY long time since we have posted anything. Thanksgiving time found us spending a wonderful weekend up in Oakdale with Roger, Sr. and Karen. Shortly after that, Caleb made the transition from infant to toddler - in a span of 12 hours. One Friday morning he took his bottle like usual and that night screamed bloody murder that I should try to offer something so obviously infantile to him. I thought it was a short faze - was I wrong! After a couple of days it became clear that he wanted to feed himself. No more bottle, no more spoonfeeding, no more infant. He could feed himself, thank you very much. (All with barely two teeth ... they came in late). So... on to Christmas...

A sleepy boy in Daddy's arms.

The joys and wonders of a laundry basket.

Christmas found us very disappointed in having to cancel our trip back East. Caleb came down with a nasty flu complete with vomiting and diarrhea that lasted about three weeks. We were graciously invited to spend Christmas Eve with our family out here in CA and enjoyed Auntie Linda's beautifully decorated home.
